What’s the twist?

 You can share your updates directly with your followers, without any algorithms getting in the way. Your audience will see posts from those they choose to follow, and if there are no new updates that align with their interests, they won’t be bombarded with ads. It’s straightforward and focused, minimizing distractions from excessive advertising...

Non Members

 Users visiting our site will have access to public profiles and posts. However, they won't be able to comment, follow other users, or communicate with them. To unlock all the features of our platform, registration is necessary. The good news is that it's entirely free, and we won't bombard your email with junk or share your data with advertisers...

Members

 Registered visitors can use our platform for free. All basic features will be available to use, making your profile attractive to follow, and give you the possebility to create a fanbase that can follow your posts. One of the biggest challenges for our plaform is the verification who you are. To be able to make content that can be downloaded, purchased or to communicate with direct messages between others you need to verify your identity.

Verified Members

 A verified member is a member that has proven with a legal identification tool that they are who they claim to be. This might be important for artists, promoters and labels, or other people that are working in the gothic scene and trying to make a living of their creativity. For these members we have created a verification process that can be started at any time. The registration tool is however not for free. At the time of this writings we have targetted the charge at € 10,00 / $ 10,00 for two years.

Member features

These features are available for all free registered members on our platform. This list can change at any given time. Feedback is of course, welcome; you can always contact us in our Helpdesk or contact forms...

Profile settings

Complete your profile with a header image, an avatar and some personal information about you or your organization. Define your interests with tags which will be used to search other content of others once your feed is entirely read. You can make your profile visible for all visitors (Public) or for members only. You can allow or do not allow others to follow you. Setup one link to your major website, and region (country) you're located.

Private information like email, address, phone, etc will be never used to show to others. Even not to other verified members or fellow followers!

placing Posts

 Placing posts is easy. Choose a title, write your content, link a video and/or webpage. Tag is for categorizing the content so others can find it on tag searches. You can schedule your post, or post it immediately. 

Following others

 Member can follow other profiles they like, or have interest in. Following means that your personal news feed will be filled with all posts of other members you follow. Only if your feed is completely read, your feed will be filled with public posts from other members that have tagged their posts with the same topics you have chosen as an interest.

Post Comments, like posts

 You can post comments on posts of others members, and you can answer in your own posts. These posts will be public visible and are not to be considered as private messages! Liking posts will only be used to have an insight on how polular a post is. No other functionality is given to the number of likes a post has received.

Bookmarking

 Have you ever been frustrated on other platforms that you have seen a post, but didn't had the time to read it completely? And later on you were not able to find it any more. You can bookmark a post so you can find it back easy in your personal bookmarked posts. When you remove the bookmark, the post will be no longer shown in your bookmark list. This comes just in handy for later readings.

Notifications

 Members can enable notifications from our website. The profiles you follow you can choose if you receive notification from them whenever they post something new. You can choose for each profile you like indicidually if you want to receive these notifications for all or only the important posts.

Sharing Media

 As a member you can share media. But you cannot make your uploaded media downloadable for others. The goal here is mainly to share the media in a viewing mode. But others cannot download it. Making it downloadable is only available for verified members.

Verified Member features

 Verified members have some extra features. These are mainly related with the need to be sure whenever you are who you say you are. That is mostly done for the content you want to share like video's, Music media files for other DJ's, radio and other broadcasters. But also for example for bloggers, influencers or written media. This way the scene will know the work you share is yours.

Uploading Media Files

 Members can share media post, but the media will not be offered as a download. To be able uploading media that can be downloaded by our members, you need to be a verified member. Your verification of your identity is needed to proof you're the legal owner. Or you are a representative of the owner of the media.

Claim Band/Artist/Label/Organization pages

As a verified member you can claim the ownership of a Organization, Label, Band, Artist profile page. One you are approved, you can manage post on behave of that page. You can also allow other members of your band, organization, ... to work for that profile.

Sending / Receiving Private Messages

Verified members will be able to get in direct contact with other members that allow this. If you are interested to plan a party or even a festival. You as a verified member can contact other verified members by sending a message in PM. This doen't mean you will have access to the other party's email address or phone. Our system will send your request to the other contact, who will decide what information he/she is prepared to share with you.

Booking Tool

Artists, bands, DJs, and their promoters will benefit from a specialized booking tool designed to streamline the creation of booking contracts, riders, and payment insurance. When you send your proposal, the other party will receive it, and if they accept your terms, a booking contract can be signed and optionally pre-paid through our platform. This process can only be initiated by verified members, and both parties must agree on the payment terms. A signature from each party is required, and the payment will only be released to you once both signatures are obtained. This service will charge a small commission fee to cover operational expenses, while the rest of the tool will be available at no cost. Detailed information will be released when all legal and our platform is ready for publication. This can be at a later date than the release date of the community platform itself.

Event registration

 You can setup an event with our international calendar. Define the date, opening data, entrance fee's, location, and other information that is needed. Set your tags, and attach your Flyer. Publish it in our event page. A post will be made also of course.

Ticket Sale

 Verified members can create events to promote om their feed and in our event calendar. But you can also use the option to sell tickets for your event. GothVille platform will be able to sell your tickets for your event. Your visitors can show these tickets at your event and you will be able to scan these with a internet connected mobile, tablet or even scanning device to validate your visitors. This feature is not free of charge, but will be based upon a small commission to cover the online payment system and service costs.

You can also offer free ticket reservations. The scanning features will be available free of charge. This can be handy if you have limited space in your venue and just want to know how many people have reserved their ticket.

No-Show fees will not be possible!
